Outdoor Vigil - Highlighting child poverty in Northern Ireland
What a moving experience we all had on the last Monday before we broke up for Christmas, during our outdoor vigil.
❤ Thank you to the Mini Vinnies who led each class in a time of prayer and reflection, making the children aware of how much our actions no matter how small can make. Together we raised awareness of the 1 in 4 children living in relative poverty in Northern Ireland, keeping them in our thoughts and raising £470 for our local branch of the SVP in Fintona.
❤ Thank you to all our staff, families and community for supporting this Vigil.
❤ Thank you to Ryan Cunningham Ryan's Gym for taking the time to keep our Mini Vinnies staying outside after school warmed up with some quick warm up exercises.
❤ A special thank you to Fr Seán for leading the children and families in the rosary at the end of our vigil.
A very special moment this Advent when the children thought about the true meaning of Christmas and how the work we do with our hands is in Jesus’ name. 🕯️
